WA long term care policy lapsed?

I signed up for Transamerica policy to avoid paying long term care tax and got exemption approval. I didn’t pay my premium and just got notice from Transamerica that my plan is discontinued and I may be able to reinstate my policy. Would i have to pay long term care tax if I don’t reinstate my policy? #washington #longtermcare
