Does any of the companies hiring remotely (permanent remote position, and not "remote until we go back to the office) offer WFH equipment? It's a bummer that office equipment is usually top notch, with expensive chairs, desks, monitors and all of that. But for remote hires it becomes too expensive all of the sudden. It is understandable if it is for people temporarily working remotely, but I am just wondering if any other company out there really provides sufficient equipment (or budget for equipment) for those who work remotely by definition. Guys from FB, Twitter or others, do you get anything? #wfh
We get a $500 WFH stipend plus a $200 noise canceling headphone stipend, the latter of which was in place pre-COVID.
