WLB in Apple SEG SoC Verification team
Have an offer at ict4 level from Soc verification team in SEG, Johny Srouji Org, Any idea about WLB there ? any input will be appreciated, thanks
It’s terrible but people just get used to the norm and are happy with golden handcuffs
If u worried about wlb, stay at intel
On the more demanding side. Team-dependent, some chill, some grind. That’s not to say chilling teams don’t have grinders, and grinding teams don’t have chillers though
Would you say this is generally true? In the order of best wlb to worst wlb Design > verif > pd
From what I’ve seen that is generally true
Most new hires are pushed hard and hard to become a chiller

How are things there? How many hours on avg do u work?
40-60 hours but I am young and don’t mind so it’s not an issue (probably not being productive most the time)

Rsu refreshers is the only rewarding thing at Apple...
In other words, money is the only rewarding thing at Apple ? Sounds good to me
I also moved from Apple , it is hell in terms of wlb
