Is Slack done? Is it a buy now as it could be an acquisition target?
Weird, I thought the shares would actually jump with everybody wfh
Market price is based on prospective sale in the future It's not based on how many existing customers use the app. Most companies allowing remote already have some sort of chat app. It's not like companies buy slack just because it's corona season.
It actually is. Discounted cash flow analysis is just one of the valuation methods. Comparables for tech like that are often based on enterprise value per active user calculations.
It’s still up 10% on 3 month, the business seems fine, it’s just a turbulent week
From the stock moves today, it seems like it's probably very well positioned to weather this storm.
Who will acquire it?
Microsoft
Whoever. Imagine they die and we have to use MS Team..... so scary
