Kudos to folks at Walmart Tech. I've been using Walmart app ever since I got Walmart+ and love the UI, fluidity and amazing how the App is so simple. #walmart
Thanks!!
Good tech doesn't mean a thing when it comes to online buying. It's all about selection, convenience and pricing. On top of that - Walmart's delivery network is bad.
The centralized integrations just to a fulfillment vs having to sync across offline stores is a challenge in itself. Not to mention Walmart stores are expected to work seamlessly in case of a network outage due to Hurricanes
Thank you 😊

If I am not mistaken a major part of Amazon app runs in Webview not native on both Android and IOS. There is a initiative to make it native since 5 years at Amazon. While Walmart app was developed in 2 years during COVID from scratch. The result - any new native integrations like AR or machine learning modules is a breeze. Can you say the same for Amazon app?
