FAANG new tc 320K. Leaving because the work is not challenging enough. Also better job responsibilities(at least based on initial conversations with the new team)

Yes MIP will be paid if you are on payroll as of 31st January.
Will manager change the rating if give a notice on Feb 1st?
I hope not. From what I know managers have to finalize ratings before end of Jan. I am not sure though
Did you ever get that MIP payout from Walmart when leaving before payout date? Just trying to validate with someone that actually did it. TC: 200k
Adding my experience in case it helps anyone in the future. I put in my notice and resigned all in February. I wanted to stay until payout day in march but my new job wanted me to start asap plus I couldn’t stand my job. I got my bonus in the mail via check and they timed it so it came on Thursday on 3/17 when everyone gets their bonus so that was cool. Either way the bonus was nice but it was noticeably less than what I got last year so I think management messed with it and gave me a low rating to reduce my payout. I did quit before I had my evaluation meeting with my boss so not sure if I would have changed the $ amount if I left after my evaluation meeting.
You won't get anything at any company ( not just Walmart) if you leave before the bonus payout date/ rsu vest date. You need to be employed by them on the day of payout/vesting to receive them
