I saw of lot of bad reviews on blind for Walmart although most of it are few years old. I heard that there are a few good teams as well and they are trying to be more tech-first now (copying Amazon). Can someone help with any insights about teams, leadership, etc. and their experience? I am considering few teams in particular : search, ad tech, and market intelligence (MINT). Is the company worth joining for a mid-term stint (3-5 years)? Will the data science work improve for Indian teams? Also, for ex-Walmart folks does the Walmart name help as much as Amazon, Microsoft, Google, etc. for getting shortlisted at data science roles at other good companies? Current TC: 35 LPA India ( Tier 1 graduate) #datascience #data #walmart #amazon #target
Terrible
Data science teams in Wmt are a joke.
Data at Walmart is, almost comically, bad. The copying Amazon is really just hire the Amazon rejects and let them run around pointing fingers and playing the blame game for why nothing gets done.

Thank you AAPL and NVDA
At least in the US, if you look at the tech Directors and Sr Managers, most are from WITCH companies who have now been there for decades. This doesn’t seem to be a good sign.
