I have a Principal PM / Group PM virtual onsite coming up for Walmart ecommerce in the next few weeks. Any pointers on what to expect? What type of questions do they ask? Do they ask typical product design questions and behaviorals? TC: 270k #walmart #pm #walmartecommerce
I would suggest talking to recruiter for your expected salary. I think you are making almost a salary of Group PM at walmart. Dont get surprised at offer stage
Not to discourage you, but San Bruno is an useless Walmart office, doing nothing worthwhile. Recently lot of teams got moved from there and some layoffs too from what I heard.
Thanks for the heads-up. The product that they’re pitching sounds very interesting and with tons of potential.
Good luck. Asked a few folks in San Bruno , feedback was , search folks interviewing you and bosses in the org and if they sound like wannabes , don't go. If their profiles read okay to you, you are good to pursue the job.
Usually a couple of behaviorals with hiring manager for screening, product case interview (with panel), then final is a on-site with mostly PMs, VP, and maybe a designer/engineer/analytics lead, depending on the team. DM me which team?
I think you are interviewing for marketplace team. It's a relatively new team within Walmart that supports remote wfh forever. If that's indeed the team, DM me and I can share my POV. The interview process varies from team to team. It's typically everything that you've listed
Hi, I recently got a call from the same team I guess as they told me they support remote wfh forever. What do you think? Did you interview there? How was it? What questions were asked??
270k???? I interviewed for 2 director pm time roles there last year, the max base was 170 with perks 205... how do you get 270 at 3 levels below? Do you guys make this things up?
Nonetheless I turned Walmart down. I wouldn't go to Walmart from Amazon, my 2 cents
Caution! E-commerce just went through a huge round of layoffs 2 weeks ago (San Bruno and Hoboken were hit quite hard). All signs, including info included in those impacted’s paperwork, indicate that was just the first round of layoffs, so it’s likely there will be more. It’s strongly suspected WM is planning to do away with the San Bruno and Hoboken offices, relocating anyone they keep to BV.
