Attractive offering. Knowing Walmart’s lack of strategic foresight, this will likely fail as well. Aug 15 (Reuters) - U.S. retailer Walmart Inc (WMT.N) on Monday struck a deal with Paramount Global (PARA.O) to offer Paramount+ streaming service to the subscribers of its membership program in a push to better compete with Amazon Inc (AMZN.O). Members of Walmart+ will get access to Paramount's "essential" plan, which costs $4.99 per month and includes commercials. It also offers a $9.99-per-month service without ads. https://www.reuters.com/business/media-telecom/walmart-reaches-streaming-deal-with-paramount-wsj-2022-08-15/
Walmart is just doing this deal to get Paramount to fix that awful halo show
Not sure if that will help them against Amzn but will hit Netflix business for sure
I rather give my money to Amazon than Walmart.
Streaming from Amazon is piece of crap. Crowded with commercials
But shows like the boys and the outer ranch are good. So much content in Amazon for free.
