Like everything Walmart, this is also inconsistent. 4 years back it hired almost all interns but last summer very few were offered any roles. No communication on why or when if at all there will be any offers.
Is it true it’s cause Walmart doesn’t sponsor anymore so they reject those who need sponsorship for full time? That’s what someone told me, unsure how true it is.
That's not true. Walmart tech cannot survive without sponsorship. The money spent there is more than made up with lower salaries. So sponsorship is very much alive.
