Walmart layoffs ?
Joining Walmart (x4 Product role) end of this month. Heard some rumours about layoffs planned later this month. Can folks at Walmart confirm this ? I haven't put in my papers at current employer and having seconds thoughts because of these rumours. Current TC: 130k Offered TC: 230k #tech #walmart #layoff

Every one knows Walmart will layoff after the holidays. Push your joining date or stay at your current job. This company is not worth the risk.

Walmarts Q3 was good and holiday seasons results are yet to be out. Till now haven’t heard of any layoffs planned for IDC yet.
Not heard anything yet. They have been hiring always, so I don't think firing will happen. The bonus amount that is a good proportion of the salary would be reduced though.
I heard, vendors in some teams in US are getting their contract terminated by Feb end..
