Walmart retention policy
Hi Blind, I recently joined Walmart as X3/SDE-3 and shortly after that I received another offer with higher pay. My current TC is 140k (base 110k). New offer TC is 200k (160k base). Current work location is Dallas and another offer is also based in Dallas. Would like to know whether walmart matches any external offer to retain the employees. I like team and manager is very supportive. Don’t want to create any negative impression in the beginning. Any thoughts will be really helpful. Thanks in Advance!
How was Walmart in Dallas? Do you have to go to the office or are you remote or hybrid?

Will they also block if an employee leaves within short period of joining?
If you are employed in US, nobody will block you.
They won’t blacklist and they won’t match. Just take the new offer

Take the new offer, it'll be atleast 2-3 years before you reach that comp internally
LOL they won't retain you and will hate you for looking outside after they had beso nice. Take the offer and leave.
