Earlier today, Jeff Zucker sent the below note to News & Sports sharing that his team members will be required to be fully vaccinated to return to the CNN and Sports workspaces in the U.S.. The message also requests that support functions entering the CNN or Sports workspaces to perform services must also be fully vaccinated. If you are receiving this email, you have been identified as a WMTO team member who, by virtue of this policy and the work you do within News & Sports locations and offices, will be required to be fully vaccinated as well. Fully vaccinated means that you are two weeks past your last vaccination date. Your vaccination status will need to be confirmed via Passcard, which you can enter here at any time. If you have not already done so please enter your vaccine information in Passcard as soon as possible. If you need to request a medical or religious accommodation to the vaccination policy, please contact your HR leader by no later than August 1. We recognize this is a change in the enterprise-wide WarnerMedia policy regarding vaccines and is being done to support the unique needs of the News & Sports business model. Thank you for your support with this important initiative. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to me or a member of the HR team. Sharon #warnermedia #hbo
I have yet to see a convincing argument against getting the vaccine. I used to work in healthcare and the flu shot was required even though I went 10+ years without getting it wasn't a big deal to just get it over with. However if you do feel strongly the other way I'm curious as to why.
I don’t feel “strongly” against it, but my reason for not getting is it that my daughter has T1D and isn’t eligible to get it. If I somehow caught it, I could pass it to her unknowingly, and risk her life. I also don’t go out but buy essentials and when I do I am fully masked (N95), so I feel like why risk it.
Does it even work?
Is this legal? Im curious as to how the exception process works
Yes it is. They aren’t the first and won’t be the last
If it's for good, I never heard of healthy food habits and healthy lifestyle, WLB being forced on people.
Lack of healthy lifestyle is not a threat to other people. You can’t give diabetes and heart disease to others
Actually unhealthy obese folk spread the virus most including when vaccinated, relatively. Obese folk disproportionately take up most hospital resources. If you are obese then you are a burden in society. We need to round you all up and send to government rehab camp.
I know 4 guys who died from vaccine complications. Your call as a CNN employee, are you willing to risk your life for Jeff Zucker? Time to reap the type of trash you sow
You really know 4 guys who died from vaccine complications? Have you informed CDC about all those cases, cause they will want to investigate and get to the bottom of it.
4 males under 45. I expect the hospitals to report their deaths. I dont go around contacting the CDC for every dead person i hear about
Is that you OP? May I have your permission to use this idea for Halloween this year?
Lol I Got this pic from Quora
Trust the science, bigots
If we stay diligent, we can end this together 🇺🇸😷🇺🇸😷

Good for them. Unvaccinated employees are a public health hazard and a threat to other employees, so this employee friendly policy is most welcome !
How so? You can still get sick vaccinated and there are new variations coming out
It’s about odds. Chances of serious illness decrease to minuscule for fully vaccinated. You can still get infected, but most likely you will be asymptomatic and viral load will be low enough to not infect others.
