I wanted to switch careers from Project Manager to Product Manager and applied to Wayfair via referral. Recruiter reached out for initial round and today reverted back by saying that the position is closed for headcount planning. I know Wayfair is not an ideal organization due to its layoff history, but I was trying for interview experience. Has anyone been through this similar situation with Wayfair? TC: 120k/ YOE: 2 years
I wouldn’t want to work there. Maybe toast as a Boston company is good. But god forbid if I had to work for Wayfair
Wayfair isn't in a hiring freeze but everything has to go through org budget owners to approve now. My guess is the posting was pulled due to other budgetary issues
Some opening is still going on but not a lot. I would say it is like hiring freeze.. not many opening. Also Wayfair’s long term goal is offshore resource.
