Wayfair stock is getting hammered after earnings report today. Down 15% and keep falling. I am curious to know how is the employee morale and environment? is it a good time to join (coz of low stock price) or really a bad time to join them? #wayfair # #e-commerce #retail
I'd stay out of this sinking ship. We just announced our new CFO who doesn't have a background
Kate has no business being the CFO and CAO. So wild.
You ex Wayfair? How you liking meta?
I'd only accept if my plan is to take take up on the signing bonus and leave after a year. Assuming you got a great offer and a TC boosf
Heard it is a toxic place, so, tread carefully
Terrible time to join, don’t do it. Already at $70, will be $50 this quarter as economy contracts more. People cut spending like this in tough times, which are coming. Not worth it from comp, definitely not worth it from a culture standpoint.
Any open positions? On wayfair ?
You would get stocks priced at $200 though
@HRJE78 You mean if they want to dish out $20k in stocks they ll only give 100 stock even if market price is let say $50 ?
At least you’re not LYFT
na they should be fine
layoffs coming
TIL Wayfair has a stock. It’s performance over time is in line with the furniture they sell.
KEKW Wayfair is real hit or miss. You've gotta dig for stuff. Too much chaff.
Exactly this. Wayfair is a glorified drop shipper. There is amazing stuff at a great price and crappy stuff that's over priced.
It's almost as if the market knows that they sell overpriced furniture
well wayfair sucks that’s why
I wonder if they are still using $200 strike price for RSUs.
They are, and the next year it's $300
$300 was what they used last year and the recruiter kept on insisting that it is the right value. Cant tell you how happy I am to not buy the BS at the time
