Hello fellow blinders, I have the first telephonic coding round with Waymo coming up. It is for an embedded engineering position. What should I expect? and how should I prepare? Has anyone recently interviewed there? Any pointers would help. TIA #embedded #interview #waymo
OP, is this a c++ role?
Yes... cos initially recruiter asked me some questions based on C++ to check my knowledge on it
Ping! Any updates OP? Recruiter contacted. I'm thinking of responding. Asking them anything would be useless since they give the usual "We're not Google, but we're Google" story. I feel emotionally toyed with, so I'm scared to walk into any interview where the fuckers might ask me to solve with DP while keeping a straight face.
Sorry I didn’t schedule the interview yet... As you told "We're not Google, but we're Google" so I don’t feel I am prepared much... if you interviewed with them do let me know how and what to prepare and expect for the interview...
Op any updates. Did you land an offer
I did a full 45 min coder pad interview. Two problems that were both data structure related. It seemed pretty reasonable to me.
Thanks.. was it Leetcode types? If yes, was it easy, medium, hard? How did you prepare for it?
No it was not Leetcode. I said it was reasonable. To me LC is unreasonable (ie has nothing to do with the job at hand). I've never felt the need to prepare for an interview.
