The core idea of H1B program is to allow companies to hire immigrant workers at or ABOVE prevailing wage!!! Not drag everyone lower and more importantly to cause AMERICAN CITIZENS to be in the front in the event of a mass layoff. Mass layoffs are financial equivalent of weapons of mass destruction guys!! Housing becomes insanely expensive! Highways are way too congested! Education systems and hospitals are over-stressed! One sentence you're arguing how tech workers TC is 360k-500k, next sentence you are saying the high TC is causing expensive housing. Are you saying h1b workers are getting underpaid or overpaid?
