WePay vs Visa internship
Asking for a friend. She's got SDE-ML internship offers from Visa and WePay and is really confused about which one to chose. Visa is playing slightly higher than WePay, but wanted to get some insights about work culture and prospective full time offers
I worked at a FANG company previously. There’s a ton more ownership and learning happening here. You’re talking about 100ish engineers vs 1000s at visa. The people I work with are very, very talented engineers and great people to work with. IMHO, as an intern optimizing for learning is much more important than anything else. The vast majority of our interns come back full time. FWIW I’ve heard our return offers are very, very good.
Visa is very cushy, stable, very low stress and a stone’s throw away from FANG if you want to take the leap for more challenging eng work

Visa is guaranteed return offer. Good company with good work life balance. With recession seeming inevitable its a no brainer to take visa I am an ex visa intern
@fhak63, is the full time return offer comparable to other tech companies ?
Sorry to disappoint you but the full Time pay is not comparable to other big tech companies.
