Thoughts on robo advisory investing? Lazy 3 Fund sounds like the safest option and would save me the most sleep initially, but I'm curious what people in tech think. I have around $60K in cash sitting in my savings... I want to keep $30K cash for emergency and invest the other $30K.
3 fund if you're willing to periodically rebalance yourself. (Set a schedule so you don't accidentally time the market.) At only 30k the fees won't hurt but hopefully you'll grow that over time.
I would be glad to help you if you want to get rid of your extra money. Your happiness is more important.
That is a terrible excuse... just put in the effort in the beginning and you don't have to worry about it much. You'll thank yourself long term
Tax loss harvesting is great, look it up. The fees are peanuts compared to my harvested losses.
I'm fully in on Wealthfront. I've had a 14% return in the last 12 months since I started and the fees are minimal from my perspective, $4.50ish a month on a 45k account balance.
You do realize that 14% for the last 12 months is an underperforming portfolio just compared to most indexes?
No its not. He chose it to be 14% to reduce risks.
Put it all in Snap.
