Interested in applying to wealthsimple but not sure what their TC looks like. There's some info on glassdoor but not sure how accurate that is. TC:80k

What level are they in? I got $133k cad TC (with rsp, not counting options cuz it's worthless) and they placed me at SWE 2. I feel cheated
What's your base? I'm thinking of asking for 125-130k base based off this info. Also what do the options look like? I'm a little confused as to how they work. From my research it's basically you're able to buy stock at a cheaper price than it is worth, but wouldn't that only be possible when the company IPOs?
WS Comp is comparable to other big tech in Canada .comp will really depend on team, role, skillset, but a Jr SWE with around 1-2 year of exp $100-$115 base, + options and GRSP. SWE2 with 3+ YOE anywhere from $120-$160. SR SWE (8+YOE) between 150-200k base. Reach out for referrals.

I am confident wealthsinple will pay upwards of 100k in base + RSUs. TC for 3yoe should be anywhere between 140k. and 180k
