Hey! I got an interview for the Web UI Engineer position role at Apple. Please suggest what preparations has to be done for screening call and technical round interview? Thank you!#tech #softwareengineer #ui/ux #apple #interview
Really depends on the team that you are interviewing for. There’s no standard interview questions.. just want each person want to give. Mine was 3 technical and 2 behavioral. The technicals are LC easy/med questions and UI system design and react design question.
Hey can I dm for some insights on how to prepare for Apple FEE role?
You’d be surprised how many people can’t do JS algorithm questions well.
I’m not super good at LC either lol. Think I got lucky with the easier LC questions
Front end whiteboard questions are usually not tricky like LC but focus on implementing things using JS language traits. Like implementing a promise class, making polyfills using prototype chains, etc… A lot of people can do front end using given frameworks. Not that many people actually know what’s happening inside those frameworks.
Okay cool. I am nervous and excited. I will work on key skill JS, UI Design and LC questions. Hope things goes well. Thank you all!
Do you mind if I dm you?

My advice is to know your stuff. Anything that is on your resume is fair game in an interview. Don’t BS with your interviewer, and acknowledge that saying “I don’t know” is OK. Bring up things you’ve done that are relevant, but outside of work. For example, any personal projects you’ve done in your own time.
