Weekend Travel (Bay Area)
What are some good places to go on a weekend trip in and around Bay Area? Thought it’ll be good to have a post which could benefit people who just moved into Bay Area or people who live here but aren’t aware of them. Let me start with a few places. 1. Tahoe 2. Napa 3. Yosemite 4. Carmel 5. Mendocino 6. Point Reyes Pls add on.

Cambria, Morro Bay, SLO, Pismo beach on the central coast are great Sierraville - North of Tahoe has a great Harbin like hot springs resort
Sonora!
Yosemite and Santa Cruz!
You see pictures of that shit every day. Also you can go there during the weekdays. Not exciting. It's about the people. There's nothing to do there that you can't do at home.
It's about the people wherever you go lil biatch Ps. Go get a taco and watch the sunset by the beach near the lighthouse field and play with dogs. Try beating that with the ocean in your bathtub!
If you have kids you can take them on a tour of a waste processing plant. It's a mix of downtown SF and science!
Mendocino is meh. Rest of the places are pretty cool for a weekend trip. If you are willing to drive to Mendocino then may be check out Lassen Volcanic NP and Mt Shasta Area . About 4-5 hrs.
Like wise drive south on Pacific 1 to Big Sur upto Santa Barbara if you can drive a lot.
