Wells Fargo Vs Paypal
Hi, i have two offers from wells and paypal both are offering the same package while wells a 10% higher than paypal, but have to move on to other location, Below is the break up: Wells: 27 lpa fixed + 2.6 variable + 1 lakh joining bonus Paypal: 24 lpa fixed + 2.4 variable + $12000 usd stocks 4 yoe exp current CTC : 20 lpa altogether Please help, i am a single divorced woman with dependents in family and a single bread winner, i prefer job security more than anything, staying at VMware is not a choice since my manager is not helping me out on anything I am just concerned about PayPal job security and layoffs anybody can pls confirm whether it's safe to join PayPal now? nothing is safe, don't over think. also for 4yr exp, paypal is underpaying you for sure.

Join Wells Fargo. I had very similar offers from Paypal and Wells Fargo and ended up choosing Paypal. Regret it everyday. There's frequent re-orgs and layoffs and long hours depending on your team.
Just make sure your manager is not toxic rest is good here and like others said layoffs can be there

Wells fargo anyday, afaik they have not done any layoffs so far(which can be both good or bad lol)

This is my opinion, I just dont see a future for paypal but considering how long they've survived I might be wrong and wells fargo is relatively safer rn
