Both are crap. Avoid wells fargo because its full of incompetent people and people with fake resumes. Chances are that disney is not too different. As an aside, wf has multiple cases of cheating customers and disney is known to replace its workers with "highly talented" workers from "other places". So, don't hang around too long in disney if you go there.

WF is a tad low. Charlotte ain’t a bad city with access to the mountains, Orlando is a little cheaper. Disney has a habit of laying people off and replacing them with contractors from India. They did this like 7 years ago at the tech hub in Orlando. Can you negotiate a higher salary with WF? Although this could be a nice Segway to HQ in LA eventually.

Did you work at wf ?

Amazon Jernbek Dec 16, 2021

No but I have experience in banking and fintech and most backend infrastructure is complete and utter shit. Lots of mainframe, and legacy systems. What part of parks would you be working in OP? Like what business unit or what team would you be working on.

Disney can be “fun” but the opportunity for growth and TC is shit. Don’t go to Wells Fargo. Resume killer.

Wells Fargo damtechies OP Dec 16, 2021

Resume killer, how do you know that? Not questioning just curious

Zillow Group bartbarto Dec 16, 2021

Depends on where you want to work next, but choosing to work for a company like that in 2021 is like taking a job at Raytheon or Palantir. It shows you’re not very concerned about the ethics of your work. But hey you could say the same for Zillow.

It’s a no brainer thing

What's your opinion?

I was new grad at WF at Charlotte as an associate for 4 months (1 year as intern before grad). Mostly writing C# apps. It was good a experience in my case as there was unlimited work so I got a lot of programming done, so when I started giving out my resume on linkedin, recruiters were swarming me with interviews. I ended up getting a $115k offer from a local company in charlotte, with only really 4 months of experience. tldr, its a great foot in the door and will lead to more money. But if I was you, id go with Disney

Thanks for that insight, congrats on that growth tho
