It makes Seattle look like a 3rd world country. Somehow it's cheaper too. It's warm and sunny there right now while in Seattle it's just rain and gray, and will be so for another 2 months. Wtf am I paying for in Seattle with the bullshit housing. Someone stop RTO so I can get out of this west coast woke hellscape.

I’d choose Seattle over Chicago. I lived in Portland and miss it a lot.
have you seen portland downtown recently? check out few videos in YT
I was there in January. Most parts of SW and NW looked all right to me.
i dunno…. chicago has extreme cold winters and extreme hot summers???? you just picked a good time of year to go
As in it's a bigger city that makes Seattle seem small? Or better infrastructure? Or something else? Almost all major cities in the US feel dilapidated in comparison to the gleaming metropolises in Asia and middle east.
Cleaner Better transit Nicer looking Better food Didn't see any drug ghouls either. Definitely not like in Seattle.
Just a week of teenage riots. 😂
Dude, just move to Chicago for higher crime rates, heavier snowfall, and lower pay, why not?
Lower pay is because cost of living is lower, obviously...
Tell me you’ve never been to Chicago in the winter without telling me Tell me you’ve been only to nice areas of chicago without telling me
I moved from Chicago to Seattle to work at Amazon. Have been here for 7 years. Have hated the Seattle area for each of those 7 years. It’s dingy. Dark. Don’t get me started on the people. Wack culture. I can go on and on. Look forward to selling my house this spring and moving back. Yes I know, good by and good riddance.
No way in hell I’d live in Chicago. I’m glad it’s working for you. Why not live in the suburbs instead of the city proper?
I lived in Seattle and now lived in the Midwest Nature is better in Seattle Everything else is better in the Midwest ngl. People are much happier and friendlier. I’m not soft so the winters don’t bother me
Lmao Chicago is freezing compared to Seattle
Maybe for a few months. Not now. It's summer there and here in Seattle it's still winter
Few = 8 out of 12 months 🤣
