I only have a bachelors (in CS) and looking to enroll in a masters program online. I would prefer MBA or MS in Finance (or similar). The #1 criteria for me is applying for a program that does not require recommendation letters.
Online programs are useless
If you are in bay, you can do evening classes masters in ucsc extension.
I believe all Masters programs actually worth your money will ask for recommendations. But you can find programs that won’t ask for GRE’s which is one less headache. Not sure what @bad-coder is talking about, same degree as in person. No difference, so why not if it’s a good university 🤷
There is a big difference especially with MBA. It's just not about learning content...it's also about network you build and what you do with that knowledge. If you can develop rich connections while online then great.... otherwise in-person is tried and tested formula.
I am mostly looking to add a masters degree to my resume. I realize it’s kinda useless in practice, but in theory people do select candidates with masters over just bachelors. I think all masters degree look the same on resume. No one will focus on school unless you go to Harvard, Stanford, or top public university.

Why are you unable to provide recommendation letters?
I am able to, just not willing to.
