Some things I’m looking for… - Good customer support options - Digital banking because I don’t live near a big city - Good UX: I’m leaving my current bank who I’ve been with for 20+ years for this reason. Their app and websites suck. I can’t even log in to check my balance sometimes - Competitive rates are a nice-to-have. I don’t intend to take out loans through this bank and use other products for savings & investments Anyone using Sofi? They’ve been recommended to me via web searches but I don’t know anyone who is a customer of their banking services.
Sofi
Any pros/cons? They come up a lot on web searches but I haven’t spoken to anyone who has used them.
Ally financial
Citibank
Ally or Schwab
Capital One
I have good experience with Chase.
Yup. Enough physical branches too and ATM coverage when you need it.
Non existent APY
Capital One is good!
HSBC
Sofi, good APY. Only con is you can't use Zelle which i dont even use it anyway. I have checking savings and cc with them, CS is fast and responsive.
Good to know! I don’t use Zelle, either, so that’s not a big deal. Thanks!
I think you can use zelle with SoFi but you need to do it via the zelle app rather than sofi. It will be coming to in app soon
Capital One 360 Checking. Yes, I'm biased, but we are good.
I’m interested. What’s good about it?
Pathetic customer service…I had to close my account. I would recommend Ally
