Hi Folks, I will be joining VMware India (BLR) office in a week's time. Since, I am an outstation candidate, i would have to relocate when ever the situation gets normal from COVID perspective. Tried to contact HR about the same and they said that they don't have any concrete information at this point. Can anyone from blind community who is currently working at VMware help with this information for India employees? #swe #vmware #remote #covid19 #softwareengineer
I think it's optional for you to come to office since VMware is now 100% remote. But depending on your current location, you might face compensation review for the months you're not in a metro city.
Thanks for the information. Can you please elaborate on the "compensation review" part? I am currently in a metro city only but not in Bangalore.
If you're not in Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad you'll have a 10% pay cut
TC OR GTFO
Get a life man. Why do you need TC details to answer this question?
Cause “man” nothing in life is free “man”
If you are in a metro city, there shouldn't be any change in your compensation
Okay. That helps. Thanks 👍
