What companies can make this offer? Who should I interview with?
Netflix
Let me guess. FANG?
A?
Must be Apple cause I don’t think Amazon does
As per my experience, any company can make an exception and offer what you want if you are a stellar candidate. Just curious: is money really such a big factor? I mean everyone wants more money but what about the quality of work? Wouldn’t you be bored after 6 months if job’s not challenging or not of your interest?
Yes if I get enough money I can move where I want and retire or even go join another place I like at a higher pay and level. But anyway yes those matter but I’d like to use the 400k benchmark as a filter as I can’t interview everywhere. Once I have offers in range I will choose the one that is most interesting considering more than only TC
High TC brings high expectations and if you don’t perform, manager won’t keep you around for too long. But good luck! Hope you find what you are looking for. Like I said: wow the interview panel and every company will make an exception.
no faag. n has no level.
Well all Netflix is senior so it’s fine
and Amazon doesn't so it's really F.A.G.
Google.
They can but you have to be exceptional. Google is low balling recently

Knowing what an unlimited use license costs i can see this.
FNG if you care only about liquid comp. Add UL if you can tolerate illiquid assets.
Both F and G offered me over 400k for t5. Key is to have competing offers.
