What direction to take as a graphic designer?

I am pretty much the sole graphics and web designer at my office. I feel like I have a decently wide scope of abilities, but lack any stand-out skills. My question is what should I focus on learning/advancing the most to get the biggest ROI? I currently use Illustrator, VSDC (video editor), and wordoress with divi.

Learn to code, maybe something like react storybook which will probably take off would be a good thing to work towards, guaranteed roi one way or another

I've never heard of that, but I'll definitely look into it. Im feeling pretty stagnant right now. Thank you.

Easiest path is continuing as a designer and push toward being a UI Designer which has the highest payout for a design role. Next option would be to fork off to the front end path but it's a steep learning curve from Divi to developing JS web apps with React so I'd only suggest it if you're a highly motivated person with a nice chunk of time on your hands. Video is an inflated field with all of the people studying film in college and struggling to find jobs.

Agreed. From being a "professional designer" for the last 7 years, I've found the UX or visual designers in Tech can make nearly double a Graphic Designer makes. Something about putting UX in the same regard as software engineering and product management. Which is true, UX does seem to do more in terms of list of responsibilities than just a graphic designer.
