What do people mean when they say talent moves to web3?

Seriously, what’s different? When people from FAANG joins to wallets like coinbase, kraken I don’t think their day to day changes so much. Hedge funds, trading companies already have loads of crypto stuff. Joining to bs services like opensea wouldn’t look sexy to anyone. Only thing left is either developing things like eth, avalanche or just writing contracts and stuff? I seriously don’t see anything cool out of web3. What do people who moved to this space do different than what they would do in faang or any saas / software company? #tech

It’s gonna be a lot more tied to identity portability via a wallet address and authenticity on the internet along (tied to a authentic wallet address) with major changes in how society chooses to create assets and place trust in digital decentralized ones over ones with poor track records eg. Gov policy on inflation as one example; - eg also fucks banks, lowers middlemen needed. Via a web3 connection you can lower the distance between every website and commerce via a PK click everything is one click shopping. There’s a lot more things and way more stupid levels of money 100x gains to be made vs just regular lots of money in web2 imo.

That's too much to comprehend. Tell we what to buy? I'm only saying this half jokingly. I know DYOR and all, but there's just tooooo much to study to make up your mind.

Or... It won't. Crypto going mainstream means centralization - so grandma can call someone when she forgets her password.
