Its their choice ..who cares what you want them to do
I want to be a house husband but I have no choice
House wife raising kids - I have full respect for them! My wife stayed home while the kids were young and it afforded me the opportunity to focus on my career knowing our kids were in a good position. I owe everything to her for giving up a career for this. She is working to get back into industry and knows that it is hard due to her time at home. In turn I lead design for a division of one of the FANG companies (and I still saw her job as harder than mine)
agree 100%
Yep. Agreed.
No, house is an object that does not deserve someone's dedication. Children do, so my wife stayed at home while they were small (pre-school)
Yes. I'm old fashioned that way.
I want to be a stay at home dad but due to income disparity I must work. My wife is staying at home for now, and it’s working out well. If and when she goes back to work, I’ll be ok with that too.
No. They got equal opportunities as a man, they gotta earn something good enough and be a true equal. I aint providing for anything besides sperm and emotional support.
I pity your gf/wife
True equal to what standard? I too pity your gf/wife
Stay at home mom. She’s great. Kids get much more attention now. Life is easier. Less stressful. She’s recovering from an insanely stressful career and deserves a break. Finances aren’t as rosy as it was when she worked. But life is better. I’m happy to support her, but I’m sure she’ll want to do something more other than errands and managing the house hold after the kids get a bit older. It’s her choice either way.
My wife's TC is 400K, so no.

Do you really feel special in your Tesla?
My wife is happily staying at home with our 3 boys until the youngest is in 1st grade at which point she will happily go back to work. She made more than me when she quit.
Wow
What's the age gap between your kids? Do you feel like your oldest would benefit more than your youngest in this regard because he'll have more nurturing from having a stay at home parent?
