Do they write the frameworks like react, or do they just use it for business logic? Do they come up with ux designs? Is there a focus on scalability or performance? How does one become a frontend engineer when most of the pipelines feed people into generic engineering at e3? Can you describe a typical sprint task of a frontend engineer ?
Yes you need a PhD in Arts to become one 🙄
You should check out the job posts from different companies , you will have better idea on the role , responsibilities and skills.
Yep mostly all of that, FE writes logic to control the UI and also builds out UI components. We also need to focus on accessibility and cross browser compatibility. We dont come up with ux designs... ux designer do that. However sometimes there are hybrid front end ux roles
FB has FEE specific roles and they even hire FEE interns.
