Tried a few PM roles at Twitch without luck. Just absolutely baffled about what it actually takes to get it? What are the hiring managers looking for in general there? Assuming I have enough past exp (no gaming but multiple online media/content/video exp in general) Feedback r just so vague I can't learn from it. (Yes I am moving on but want to learn from the time spent on it)
Best way to assess is to share what were the questions and which parts you thought you didn't do great. Mind sharing it here?
I would suggest anyone starting out to be a recruiter for six months to a year.
The thing about Twitch is that we're structured as vertical full stack teams, not as a central product org - so hiring managers look for very specific expertise and experience rather than generalists. My advice would be to apply for the job where you have specific relevant experience
