This may not apply to big companies with catering in-house, but I find getting lunch as a team is such a cumbersome thing to do everyday. Someone needs to be organizing who, when, where, how and most of the time no one wants to contribute until s/he missed the train. Not to mention we have vegan, vegetarian, keto friends, and bad timings when restaurant cancel order last-minute. Catering-as-a-service like EAT Clubs is more reliable because it delegates choices to individual but food is kind of stale and uninteresting due to its processing/packaging detour and overall just feels like school lunch. After some digging I found a startup like https://dilio.ai working on this and some people came up with internal hacks like lunch dictators. Wondering what are other fun hacks out there. #lunchhack
We’ve tried a few services and the best so far has been WowCater. But I think they’re only in the Bay Area. But they make it super easy with tons of great options.

Some companies pay for lunch. They just don't have catering.
