What gifts for parents?
What do I do I don't know what to get.. Reddit only has advice for poorf- I mean frugal people. Is there anything that won't just gather dust? Even the Switch I got last year for my little brother just sits there, but I guess Nintendo is for boomers now And they're not interested in status signalling so I can't just get bags/watches and call it a day, they'll complain it's waste of money

Spend some time with them. I think that's the best gift you can get a parent, especially as they get older, your time and your attention.

For parents, just take them to the mall, and buy them whatever they want. Thats what I do
Good food and a night of childcare. Let them enjoy a kid free date night or evening out at a decent place to eat. Maybe a weekend getaway/staycation.
Cruise ship ticket. They will love it
