How much paid leave do you get and how long do you have to be at the company to be eligible? Any other benefits for parents? Specifically interested in these companies but would love to hear from others as well: #tech #apple #facebook #google #stripe #square #spotify #peloton #microsoft #uber #amazon #netflix
8 weeks fully funded for men (ETA: not sure what is VZ funded vs (un)paid state/FMLA but know female coworkers who have been out for ~6mo). Something similar for adoption too. Only requirement I can remember is that it be taken in chunks longer than 2-weeks at a time, and must be used within 1 year of birth. I think you’re eligible as soon as you start, but there may be some like 60-day probationary period.
18 weeks paternity leave. Full pay and benefits. Equity still vests.
Thanks for your response! Is there a minimum amount of time you have to be there to be eligible to take it? Also, are there any differences between maternity and paternity benefits?
No minimum that I’m aware of
Full pay 5 months
