Paul Graham published his essay Relentlessly resourceful in 2009 : https://www.paulgraham.com/relres.html Still to this day no one knows what it means. There were blog posts created to try to explain the term. Hacker news threads filled with comments about the term. Everyone disagrees. My story: I tried to learn programming playing some video game that teaches you how to program. It did not worked out. I had this fixed idea that games are the future of education. So I quit. It’s not until year later a friend sent me a YouTube link to html video tutorial. This act completely changed my life, and I was so impressed that I spent 8 months watching tutorials. So it was a pure luck that I become programmer. But if I was relentlessly resourceful I would not stop at video game. I would try everything- including online video tutorials. Because I did not know then that programmers learn the best by visuals.
