What is the best TC someone ask for Data Engineer I at Amazon
Have an onsite interview scheduled for DE-1 at Amazon soon, yesterday recruiter asked me for the salary expectations. I did not give the number but asked for the range for this position, she told that minimum TC would be 130K to 140K but it depends on the interview performance and if they think the candidate deserves DE-2 they may hire for DE-2. So keeping the expectation low, what is the best TC we can ask for DE-1 (Seattle)?

In 2017 it was 95k base 30k cash 55k rsu, so about 110k a year. That was a median offer with a cap around 120-125
So you mean including 55K RSU it is 125-130K?
Yea. Bonus is 50% a year for 2 yr. stock vest is 5% 15% 40% 40%. So it averaged about 110k per year
