Good people overall, but CVAD is hiring some duds. Smart people are leaving while bad engineers are joining. It's an easy job tbh. But the poor hiring practices are starting to hurt.

PM is irrelevant role and will die in next 2-3 years.
The culture at Citrix varies dramatically by org and manager. Org-wide and publicly, they are proponents of diversity and inclusion. There is regular training to help against subconscious bias, etc. I have actually found these valuable. There is little to no "enforcement" of these trainings, AFAICT. I have colleagues who intentionally use some of the insensitive speech we're meant to filter out. It is what it is. Nobody cares. It's a weird time to join Citrix. We have recently had one big round of layoffs (est 10% of total labor). Stock has not doing well, but slightly recovered. CEO is currently a placeholder from the board. On the bright side, if you negotiate a fair sum of RSUs they are likely to either increase in value during your vesting period -or- get instantly vested and brought if the company goes private. Idk about the accounting and finance salaries. It's a risky situation. Hope this helps.
