What behaviors get rewarded at your company. What is the reward system (stack ranking, peer promotions etc). What parts do you like about it, what parts do you hate?
Behaviors at Amazon that get rewarded are codified as leadership principles. For engineers one of the most important is "Deliver Results" i.e. get shit done and shipped. Others that frequently get rewarded are "Ownership", " Customer Obsession" and "Bias for action".
Not getting fired.
