I would like to know what your company hiring cycle is for hiring Junior Devs and which months new requisitions usually come out? If it matters this is for the Seattle area
Our direction is to make hiring decisions and offers out within 3 weeks of a req going out. Reqs ongoing as needs dictate. Southern
Funny because I had the same question regarding Boeing... Been in taleo limbo after interviewing and everyone tells me waiting 4-6 months for an offer isn't unusual... But to answer your question we're coming up on the new fiscal year, which prompts a lot of companies to put reqs out there. The "use it or lose it" money is coming in for a lot of orgs.
At most you shouldn't be waiting more than 2 months for after the interview process, and that's only if they're having budgeting issues where they're suddenly unsure they have the funds to actually man the position that you just interviewed for which is pretty rare. I would say that if you're waiting longer than that you don't have the job
