What materialistic spending would you do with you first $2 Mil?

Hi everyone, I was just curious as to what materialistic item would you purchase if you hit your first $2 Mil? @finance @investment @millionaire @google

Yahoo Igpay17 Sep 21, 2020

It’s only $2 million. Meh.

Align Dinglebery OP Sep 21, 2020

Yahoo Igpay17 Sep 21, 2020

Read personal finance books. Also a decent car

Geico nyEX34 Sep 21, 2020

Any good finance books you'd suggest?

same

you only need $1M for that (if you ignore inflation) maybe 3 chicks?

Align Dinglebery OP Sep 21, 2020

I’d buy a box of pizza

Walmart gcJa02 Sep 21, 2020

2M isn’t life changing. You can think about wasting money on materialistic things when you get to 5M+.

I mean, if you don't like the rat race it's enough to retire at a standard of living significantly higher than the average working household. But it's easy to inflate your lifestyle to the point where it's not much, of course.

I’d say 10M+

Pay off mortgage. And Maybe a sports car.

Google hrurbxusu8 Sep 21, 2020

Why on earth would you pay off mortgage?

Facebook FANG4EVER Sep 21, 2020

Yeah, paying off a low interest rate mortgage is not a decision made by someone with enough financial sense to keep their millions.

Align Dinglebery OP Sep 21, 2020

I’d buy a cute purple lamborghini

Google TCorGTFO🤖 Sep 21, 2020

Realistically you can’t afford a lambo with $2mil unless your TC is super high

Apple CMDK22 Sep 21, 2020

Lol yes you can. With 2m you could just pay cash and leave 10k aside a year for maintenance. You could set aside 100k and be fine for 10 years
