What part of Seattle is most like the Marina in San Francisco?

I'm moving to Seattle soon and would like to find a similar neighborhood. If a similar neighborhood doesn't exist which one would be the most similar?

Nonexistent

Seattle isn't basic

Amazon spiceydog Apr 15, 2018

None. Maybe Cap Hill because it's a big party.

What part of Seattle is like Times Square?

You can go near Bezos’ Balls if you want to feel overrun by tourists and glitzy retail.

Microsoft Lotl Apr 15, 2018

Downtown Kirkland or Leshi maybe. Madison Park.

It's quite far away over ten miles from downtown Seattle. The Marina is only three miles away. Is there anything closer by such as actually in Seattle or only outside Seattle?

Microsoft Lotl Apr 15, 2018

Leshi or Madison Park are best bets. Eastlake neighborhood and Fremont are possibilities.

Microsoft 3percent Apr 15, 2018

You won't find it. Probably best if you don't move here. Just stay in CA. Please.

Microsoft tKvD07 Apr 15, 2018

I am not familar with the Marina neighborhood (since I haven't lived in SF). If you give me a description, then I can tell you the closest equivalent in Seattle.

It's by the waterfront and a good area for running. It's also a safe area and has cafes and restaurants and a supermarket.

Microsoft tKvD07 Apr 15, 2018

Sounds like downtown Kirkland. Or maybe also West Seattle.

Microsoft @zzzzzzz Apr 15, 2018

Stop comparing and find your own neighborhood. There are many, with their own unique quirks, something I love about here.
