What roles/positions get to go to conferences like Next at Google?

Why not? It shouldn’t matter what your role is, your company should be willing to invest in your growth in whichever area you like, unless it’s absolutely irrelevant.

Product and Marketing teams presenting sessions, customer facing roles across sales, partnerships etc, ux teams doing research

What about when presenting on more technical topics or needing to meet customers and hear about needs? They never bring in EM, Sr EM, or Director?

Surely there are breakouts with deep dives

What conferences? All that shit is virtual now.
