What’s a good base + annual bonus for a java developer ?
Sorry you been through that, nobody deserves to work with java for 10 yrs, don't deny yourself at least a decent 6 figures salary
Very funny ... six figure is too vague though it can be anything from 100k to 999k ! 😏
yes you will likely top out at 200-250k unless you move into mgmt. How much are you pulling in now?
So capital one pays 200k to java developers with 10 years of experience ?
As with anything -YMMV. But yes - it's a reasonable expectation
BlackRock pays like garbage. Go anywhere else and you’ll make more money.
I know ... what about Bloomberg ?
Bloomberg pays well. My job is boring though (I’m leaving soon). More C++ than Java here unfortunately. 10 years C++ probably averages > $250-300k
How much are you getting paid now?
175k base
OK then how much of a bonus do you typically get?
