What happens when most of your team is Indian?
Article 1 - https://www.inc.com/jason-aten/with-3-words-microsofts-ceo-showed-that-you-can-lay-off-10000-people-with-empathy.html "Look no further than Nadella's statement announcing the layoffs, which does a great job explaining how to handle this type of decision. It's not complicated--in fact, it all comes down to just three words. Here's what Nadella said in a communication to employees that was published on Microsoft's blog: We know this is a challenging time for each person impacted. The senior leadership team and I are committed that as we go through this process, we will do so in the most thoughtful and transparent way possible." The party’s theme was sustainability, according to the WSJ." #swe #tech #software #engineering #layoff #machinelearningengineer #faang #hardware #rfe #layoffs #microsoft #msft #meta #facebook #google #amazon #apple #netflix #twitter #tesla #lyft #uber
No corporate cares about its employees at the end of the day. It’s nothing personal. They are rubbing a business and the profit numbers should grow every year. The CEO won’t have a job if he is not focused on serving Wall Street
I wanna know who is the lone idiot that voted that Microsoft puts people first lol. Probably Satya or a member of his LT
Neither , the correct option is to grow up
Why are news companies sucking MSFT dick when they had the worst layoffs. At least Google had good severance and Meta's was almost as good and did it with the least employee suffering. I fucking hate journalists. Dumb fucks can't get any details right but if you propose they be regulated to stick with objective facts, you get called a monster.
Half these CEOs own their respective news outlets. Ofc they suck their dicks. Question is, does anyone relevant actually believe this snot journalism?
The general public believes journalists. Journalists have started wars (see yellow journalism and the Spanish-American war.) And yet somehow they have made themselves untouchable paragons in the eyes of the public, while dividing the public for profit all the same.
