Between my wife and I we worked at FAAM and have at least 50k vested stocks at each, plus about 800k unvested at Apple and Fb. We didn't sell any stock, until we needed downpayment for the house. We have about 100k in index funds (aside from our 401k). Should we sell our Apple and Fb stocks right now and buy something else (maybe index funds?) Or is this good enough diversity? #stock #investment

Is "From the River to the Sea" So Wrong?
My take is large cap stocks are safer than the whole index now. This is upside down and usually it's the other way around, but not this time. Maybe Apple and FB look more speculative at this point than other 3, so consider getting some of other big names. Diversification is good though. If you buy gold or real estate in linear markets with positive cash flow, you are likely to fare even better.
Can't get real estate with cash flow in the bay or Seattle area and don't have enough info about other states. But didn't think about gold.
