Why is it so G*damn difficult to move money out of India
So, LinkedIn employees will likely be keeping their email address at LinkedIn but now we are a part of Microsoft. How will Blind handle that?
Merge merge merge.
Oh that would make things interesting
just sign up using your Microsoft email address? details of your equivalent Microsoft.com address are on our wiki.
You mean your li_username@microsoft.com email address? They don't seem to work yet.
So we have to have multiple blind accounts? The app can't even handle that? Have to use multiple devices?
How would the levels map between these two companies? Msft has tons of levels while a certain level at LinkedIn could map to different levels at Msft
Aliases 😉
A good problem for a product manager! Here's what I hope happens. 1. LinkedIn employee opens blind. 2. A notification pops up asking if they want to merge their LinkedIn account with a new Microsoft id. 3. When the user confirms, send a special link to the user at their Microsoft.com alias, which upon clicking will merge the 2 accounts. 4. The user gets access to Microsoft lounge and retains access to the LinkedIn lounge.
Been through acquisitions LinkedIn folks will have two Blind accounts for a log time AND Blind doesn't care if you have multiple accounts as long as they have legit company domains.
LinkedIn is going to be an independent company, so no @Microsoft.com email accounts for them just yet.
If they designed their data model the right way then they can simply add more email domains to the same company. And merge the boards together. What else?
