For mid-senior engineering leadership (L7 equivalent). Nothing to lose in terms of pay. Not surprisingly, bigger scope and ownership in the start ups vs what is offered in the FAANGs. Current TC: 410k Offers in hand: ~750k #engineering #software #management
RobinHood has the most upside by far, and has the potential to make you a TC millionaire.
Robinhood is a scam
U r currently an L6 sdm at Amazon ?

Blind is full of Google fanboys
Why is DoorDash always in these lists? I don't get it. Their business model is ridiculously bad and predatory. They treat most of their employees (sorry, independent contractors) terribly. They were even stealing their tips a few years ago until the press outed them and they changed their payment structure. Asking for real. Not a troll question.
Why not? They have a huge market opportunity with new initiatives and strong financial backing. And it's not too late to change the business model too. No?
Plenty of smart people, but DoorDash eng is a complete shit show. Bandaids stacked on bandaids. Outage after outage. Also agree with you on the murky ethics going on (Robinhood might have a little of their own too though). If it matters to you, a significant proportion of drivers are paid below minimum wage Growth and company wide performance has exceeded my expectations not going to lie... But future really depends if we can keep penetrating deeper into the food space or we've hit ceiling
I’m surprised that Doordash is higher than Netflix
$750k to work 30 hours a week at Google
